I can’t believe it’s been a year since last time Halloween rolled around! We went up to the grand festivities on Franklin Street again this year, but with more company! Some of my buddies from NC State came and hung around my place before we headed up to the madness. After hanging around at home and having some yummy lime daiquiris (thanks, Dan!) we walked up the hill from home, probably almost a mile, to join the crowds.
Ryan got SO much attention as Frylock. Most people recognized him as Frylock and thought that was an awesome costume idea, or just thought he was french fries which was (for some reason) still worth yapping about. The crowds were really tight in some places and somehow I managed to fill up my camera’s memory card with 144 pictures! We spent about 2 and a half hours up there and then headed back home exhausted. It’s dissappointing that so many people don’t even attempt to dress up, but still worth it to see the few excellent costumes. I personally had a good time, anyway. =)
