Sandra took me to a Mets game. She’s a very big fan of the Mets. In fact, you might call her a fanatic (I do):
fa·nat·ic (fə-năt’ĭk) n. A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause.
But I have to admit that I had a very good time with her at the game. In fact, our entire weekend overall was very enjoyable! And this coming weekend my parents are coming to visit, so I’m sure we’ll have a blast with them too.
Here’s a picture of me and Sandra at the game. The Mets were winning 4 – 0 in the 9th inning and then OMG LOST… I couldn’t believe it. But, it was fun and at least they played well for 8 innings or so! Personally, my favorite part was when the paratroopers jumped from the helicopter and landed in the field (well, most of them… it was a little too windy for one guy and he ended up in the parking lot!) What, wasn’t that supposed to be the highlight of the game? =)
