About
wxSnow is a festive application that draws snowflakes falling on your desktop, but behind other windows as to not be too distracting. It looks like this:

Main Features
- Eight different snowflake bitmaps.
- Show more or less snowflakes (100 to 500).
- Make snowflakes fall faster or slower.
- Make snowflakes rotate or not rotate. (Rotation takes more CPU power.)
- System tray icon to change settings or exit the application.

Troubleshooting
If the application fails to run, you may need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package. (I built the app before I learned how to include these .dll’s in the distribution, and haven’t gotten around to rebuilding it yet.)
Nice timing with the release! You might want to look at the now-elderly Drempels, which did much the same with the desktop.
Oooh, can you bring back the Christmas lights too? :D
OK, now I need sleigh bells :)

This application has filed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
This is on a HP a1520e which came with Vista. I’m running XP and cannot find a video driver for the onboard video. Could this be the problem?
Did you try installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package as mentioned below the download links?
